We're here to help you craft.
How do I use a design with my Cricut?
Open any design, choose your format (SVG keeps it fully editable for cutting), and export it to a folder on your Mac. Then click "Open Cricut Design Space" to go to the web app, and upload your file there to cut.
Which export format should I pick?
Use SVG for single-color vinyl cut files, PNG for sublimation and print-then-cut (it keeps transparency), PDF for print, and JPEG when you just need a flat image.
How do I build a custom monogram?
Open the Monogram Builder from the sidebar, type your initials, then choose a frame, font, and color. When it looks right, export it like any other design.
Can I add my own text to a design?
Yes. Open a design and choose "Add Text" to send it to the Template Studio, where you can type custom text, move and resize elements, recolor them, and export the finished piece.
Can I sell what I make?
Yes — you can use the designs to create finished physical products for personal use and for your own small-business sales. You may not resell or redistribute the original design files themselves. See our Terms of Use for details.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. The whole library is on your Mac, so browsing and exporting work without an internet connection. You only need the web for Cricut Design Space itself.
Is my data private?
Completely. The app has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking — everything stays on your device. Read our Privacy Policy.
How do I restore a purchase?
The current version is free with everything unlocked, so there's nothing to restore. If that changes in a future update, you'll find a "Restore Purchases" button in Settings.
Still need a hand?
Email us and we'll get back to you, usually within a couple of business days.
